First-Time Setup

VECTIS works out of the box with very little configuration. Follow these exact steps to get your system ready.

Disable Anti-Virus#

Because VECTIS interacts directly with your mouse and captures your screen, most anti-virus software will falsely flag it and prevent it from running. Disable your anti-virus before downloading.

To disable Windows Defender manually

  1. 1
Select Start on your computer and type Windows Security.
  2. 2
Select the Windows Security app from the search results.
  3. 3
Go to Virus & threat protection.
  4. 4
Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
  5. 5
    Switch Real-time protection to Off.

Download VECTIS#

Once your anti-virus is temporarily disabled, download the VECTIS client:

Extract the files from the zip into a new folder on your computer.

Set Your Enemy Color#

VECTIS is a colorbot - it only aims at the colors you tell it to see. The Red (Default) preset matches the stock MW4 enemy color, so if you have not changed your in-game enemy color, you are already set.

For the cleanest possible detection, switch to the Purple/Magenta (Superior) preset and set the matching purple in-game.

Important

You must set this up inside Call of Duty (MW4) for it to actually work.

How to set the color in Call of Duty

  1. 1
Open COD and go to Settings.
  2. 2
    Go to Interface.
  3. 3
    Go to Readability.
  4. 4
    Go to Color Customization.
  5. 5
    Find the Enemy row.
  6. 6
Click the color box and find the Hex input.
  7. 7
    Type FA3DF0 and press Enter.
  8. 8
    Press Apply Custom Color.

Tip

FA3DF0 is the exact purple the VECTIS Purple preset is calibrated against - always use this one, not any other purple.

Sensitivity and DPI#

VECTIS needs to know your in-game mouse sensitivity so it knows exactly how to move your physical mouse.

  1. 1
Launch the VECTIS application and log in with your license key.
  2. 2
    Open the SETTINGS tab.
  3. 3
Type in your actual In-Game Sensitivity (for example: 4.5).
  4. 4
Type in your Mouse DPI (for example: 1600).

Important

These must match your actual game settings exactly, or your aim speed will be entirely wrong.

Start Playing#

  1. 1
Go to the AIMBOT or TRIGGERBOT tabs.
  2. 2
Switch the Enabled button to ON.
  3. 3
Hold your Activation Key (the default is usually Mouse2 / right click) to aim automatically.

Caution

Your game must be set to Borderless Windowed or Windowed mode in the graphics settings. The screen capture will not work in full screen mode.
